How the Mobile Notary Works

  1. Please review and verify all requirements are met.

  2. Call or Text with any questions or to receive a fee estimate:  971-599-3080

  3. Schedule your appointment - no payment is required in advance.  We accept all major credit cards, Venmo, PayPal or cash after the assignment is complete.

  4. You will receive a confirmation email after your appointment is booked.  Some documents require a voice call in advance to discuss the document(s) and to verify the signer(s) meet  requirements for notarization before we are able to dispatch a notary to your appointment.  Please be available for a voice call during the 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.  If we are unable to connect with you we may need to reschedule the appointment.  A fee estimate will be provided upon request.

  5. Time is of the essence.  We allot 30 minutes in a standard appointment to complete the notarization of your documents.  We ask that you have your documents prepared and signers with identification ready to begin when we arrive. If you know you will be late please call/text us immediately.  Being late disrupts our efficiency and reliability for other clients scheduled after your appointment.

  6. Upon arrival, we will review your documents to verify they meet the requirements to be notarized and provide an explanation for any variance from our fee estimate before we begin.

  7. Next, we will identify the signers and/or witnesses.  All signers and/or witnesses must be physically present with acceptable government issued identification or have credible witnesses physically present with acceptable government issued identification.

  8. The Notary Public will determine if the signer and/or witnesses are doing so freely and willingly.

  9. The Notary Public will then complete the required Notary Journal entries and obtain signatures from any signers in the Notary Journal.

  10. Finally, the Notary Public will complete the applicable Notarial Certificate(s) and affix the official notary stamp and signature to the page.
